Statistics show that 1 in 5 women suffer a form of U.T.I. (Urinary Tract Infection) throughout their life and in most cases the episode will be recurrent.
If you’re a woman and you’re reading this you’ve most probably been through the pains and discomfort of a bladder infection. (Or you have at least one friend who has suffered from it.)
This is the least serious form of U.T.I. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t treat it seriously.
Untreated it can lead to life threatening situations, like kidneys infection.
But enough with the scary data.
How I Treated Myself Without Antibiotics
I’ve had my first serious episode of bladder infection when I was 32.
(Lucky me, I had not suffered from it for so long, while I heard plenty of my girlfriends dealing with it often.)
When I say serious infection I mean: blood in the urine, shivers, temperature, feeling the intense urge to urinate and pain while trying to eliminate.
Because I am all about trusting the body and natural remedies to heal, I didn’t take antibiotics.
I may sound calm now, but let me be honest: I was so freaked out at that time!
Because I hadn’t experienced something like this before.
In spite of the fear, I’ve done a lot of research on natural remedies and I’ve consulted with my homeopath.
And I’ve used the remedies and suggestions I share in the infographic bellow.
It took me about 24h to get out of the crisis (feeling the intense urge to urinate and pain while urinating), and a couple of weeks to feel completely recovered. I continued taking cranberry supplements for about 6 months to prevent a recurring episode.
Then I’ve recently had another one…[insert desperate sigh here].
But this time it was way milder.
I’ve been in the crisis for about 12h and in a few days I felt completely recovered. And I did this using only some of the remedies I’ve used the previous year.
When I’ve asked my women friends what do they do in such cases, I was surprised to hear that many of them get sick even a few times a year and that they take some form of antibiotics.
But because in time the bacteria becomes resistant to antibiotics, they need stronger and stronger drugs that have such devastating side effects on their immune system.
So I’ve decided to share my experience so far with the treatment without antibiotics.
*Disclaimer: I’m not a doctor, I am not implying that these remedies will work for everyone. I just want to share what worked for me and inspire as many women as possible to look for the ways to heal themselves naturally, without the side effects of antibiotics. I strongly advise you to ask for specialised help before trying these remedies.

P.P.S If you’re a man, you’re less likely to suffer from a bladder infection, but you must have some dear women around who might benefit from this. So thanks for sharing it with them. You rock!
