Yoga for the back is for YOU who:

✅ have been/are still struggling with back pain & stiff back muscles for a couple of weeks, months or even years

✅ wake up in the morning with a back pain/stiffness that gradually dissipates untill evening for more then 3-4 times a week

✅ work long hours sitted in front of a computer and you feel like you should do something to prevent back pain and stiffness

✅ have been practicing yoga for a while but sometimes your back hurts after some classes and you want to know why and how to prevent that

✅ haven’t try yoga yet although you would want to, but have been avoiding it because you consider yourself “not flexible” (that’s actually very good for you, even if your face is like this 🤔 now, you’ll understand why)

✅ have been practicing yoga for a while and you would like to get back to basics to improve your asana practice from the inside out, to become your own teacher[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”2348″ add_caption=”yes” title=”Hi, I’m Raluca!”][vc_column_text]I love practicing and teaching Yoga in nature as much as possible. Here I’m in the Turia park in Valencia, Spain the town I currently live in.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

My (too long) history with back pain (in brief)

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”2349″][vc_column_text]Graduation day with my teacher, Julio Papi, and my classmates at Daansana School of Yoga RYS 200h, in Bucharest, Romania[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]For almost all of my adult life, I’ve been dealing with back pain. On and off, with acute episodes alternating with short periods of time of mild pain or sometimes, rarely no pain. Since I finished my 200 hours Hatha Yoga Teacher Training I’ve had the longest period (so far) of no acute pain crisis and no back pain of my life.

I still have some muscular contractions that get sore from time to time but waking up without back pain every morning for more than 6 months in a row it’s been a huuuuuuge realisation for me!

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]So, because of my history with back pain I’ve been teaching my classes with a focus on the back.

So far I’ve had an awesome feedback with people developing a better posture and never complaining about back pain during or after a class.

Which did happen to me sometimes when I was attending classes before going through the Teacher Training, sounds familiar? ;)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”2359″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1542576539329{background-color: #f1edf7 !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Your biggest weakness or challenge bears the seeds of your biggest gift.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_empty_space height=”64px”][vc_single_image image=”2353″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

I’ve kept hearing the saying “your biggest weakness or challenge bears the seeds of your biggest gift”. I now understand it from experience. In my quest for healing back pain I’ve been reading, studying all I could get my hands on, from emotional causes to the physical ones, trying to tackle the mind-body connection.

Studying and practicing the yoga asanas with a focus on proper alignment and on minding the back has been the most important milestone so far and it keeps getting better. I continue to study, practice and experiment and I love sharing my yoga classes from this perspective.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I’m looking forward to seeing you on the mat, live if you happen to live in Valencia, or via Skype if you’re anywhere else in the world.

Namaste!  🙏🏻
