The 30 Days Challenge

The 30 Days Challenge To Reconnect With Your Gut Feeling

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”-Lao Tzu

Over the last years I’ve been experiencing a couple of times the benefits of a 30 days challenge. Some I did alone, some with a friend, and others with a group of people from around the world connected via Internet.

Every time I did this, it was an exciting, funny, learning and growth experience. I’ve noticed that 30 days challenges are a great tool for stepping out the comfort zone, opening up to new, exciting adventures, meeting new, amazing people, cultivating a new, healthy habit and so much more.

And I’ve noticed that I like it when I pair up with a friend, or, even more awesome, with a group of like minded people. The energy of the group is so amazing, and it helps everyone to carry on much easier when things go tough.

So that’s why I decided to start a new 30 days challenge, and I would love it for You to join me! The more people that gather in this the more powerful the energy, the fun and the learning for each and everyone.

The Purpose Of This 30 Days Challenge

The overall purpose of the challenge is that at the end of it we will be more centered, grounded and more in tune with our soul, heart or gut feeling.

And that we remain with one thing that will become part of our everyday lives: the habit of keep coming back to our center, to our gut feeling throughout our day to day lives.

This is a topic that regardless of what glittering new idea or project catches my attention, I keep coming back to. I’ve been writing about this in different contexts like here.

I’ve found it to be the the ground base for anything I want to achieve.

If I want to create a lifestyle that reflects my core values, my unique self and my own special talents, then I need to be aware and conscious of what those are and be open and receptive to the opportunities that life offers me to do so. And I can’t do this if I am not centered, grounded, in touch with my gut feeling at all times.

The Power Of The “Small Actions”

When you boil it down to the essentials You realize that small steps will get You anywhere You want. And it starts with what You do every morning, how you feel when You are driving to work, or what’s your last thought before going to bed at night.

I hear many people say things like:

“When my business will work well, than I will relax”

“When I will meet that special someone, I will be happy”

“When I will lose those extra pounds, I will start feeling good about myself”

Most of us live in the “when X happens, then I will be happy” trap. It’s always the next moment, the next person, the next job, the next…but living like this we soon realize years have past by and we are still like the hamsters on the wheel, chasing that next shiny thing that will make us happy.

All the great teachers, from the ancient to the modern ones, speak about being in the present moment as the key to a sane, happy, in tune life.

But how to do this? After consuming hundreds of books, workshops, seminars, movies and one on one work on personal development, I’ve had many A-ha moments, many insights and I’ve evolved a lot compared to where I was 10 years ago.

And the one thing that kept me from letting go of the old, or embracing the new, was most often the feeling of being overwhelmed. It often seemed too much, too complicated.

That’s where the tiny steps approach worked beautifully for me. And the 30 days challenge is one of the best tools for this.

How The Challenge Will Go

Starting June 2nd, I will publish every day a short blog post, containing the exercise of the day.

It will be something very simple and easy to incorporate in your day. Many of these exercises I already have them as a part of my life, I know they work. Others, I am looking forward to be trying them together with You.

In the evening I would love to see your comments about how it went. Sharing our experiences is the part where we all benefit from the experience of the others. And it helps us feel connected and energized with the group energy.

If you miss one day, don’t worry, just get back on track and continue with the next ones.

If You think a friend would benefit from this, feel free to share this with them.

So that’s it.

If You want to be a part of this, I would absolutely love it and appreciate it.

I am so looking forward to be learning and growing together with You in this 30 days challenge.

With all my love,

Raluca

PS: Stay tuned for the first step of the challenge: tomorrow, June 2nd!

PPS: Thank You for doing this with me. It’s gonna be awesome! 🙂

  1. Raluca, i have the same nationality like you and i am glad to see you do what are you doing. I want to ask you something: Will this challenge help me to get ”unstuck” and let go all the fears? I am adept of the positive thinking, but i am in the place when i don’t have the motivation to continue to my big goals and i am stuck in this moment. I hope you can see this and respond to me. I can’t wait to start the challenge, i always like to embrace new things. Have a nice day! 🙂

    • Hey Sebastian, happy to have you around. Thank you for your question. From my experience so far, this type of challenge where you do a “small” thing every day is a great tool to get unstuck when feeling overwhelmed by so called “big” goals. I can’t promise that this is the cure for letting go of all fears but it can be of help. How much this will help You it depends, of course, on You 🙂 Please keep giving me feed back as you go along with the daily exercises. I am looking forward to be doing this challenge with you.

  2. Raluca, as I was reading through your blog, this thought – that I’m about to share with you – kept recurring: “We need more women like her.” And one of the reasons for this is that it would inspire us to become better men.

I wish you a great journey ahead!

  3. Day 1.

Hi, Raluca. My day is finishing and I found peace while focusing on the present moment. The hectic rhythm of things was replaced by optimism, self confidence and energy. The hours didn’t rush like other days, but aided me as a carriage of well trained horses.
Thank you for being an inspiration.
